Chaperone Volunteers

Graduating seniors in good standing with SPHS

Tentative Schedule

Time TBD: Arrive at SPHS basketball courts

  • Check-in and drug dog screening 
  • Sign in with a chaperone
  • Light snacks, restrooms
  • Load buses and depart

8:00 pm: Arrive at Six Flags

  • Chaperones will hand out tickets and vouchers for the Grad Pass 
  • Go through security
  • Have fun!!

3:00 am: Return to bus

  • Chaperones will text bus location to you
  • ETA to SPHS around 4:00 am

To screen for items to adhere to Six Flags Park Policies: Absolutely NO Alcohol, Drugs, or Weapon of any kind are permitted. In addition, Six Flags is a SMOKE-FREE Park and will not tolerate any smoking including e-cigarettes and vaping in the park at Grad Nite.

Buses only! All students must ride to and return from Six Flags on the provided buses at the scheduled times. 

Grad Nite is a private closed park event and students must stay on the park property at all times for the whole event. The park exit gates will open at 2:30am for all students to return to their buses.

Chaperones  will accompany the students through security only. They will magically reappear and the end of the event to make sure all students board the bus to return to SPHS.

All SPHS seniors attending Grad Nite will receive a special 2024 Grad Season Pass to Six Flags valid from June 7 to Dec 31, 2024 – including Fright Fest, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Hurricane Harbor Concord and Hurricane Harbor Phoenix.

*Important*

The Grad Pass must be activated during Grad Nite before you can use it! Please make sure to bring your voucher to one of these locations to redeem it before the end of the night.

  • Season Pass Processing Center:  located across from the Ticket Will Call after Security Screening (will be open before 8pm)
  • Guest Relations: located in the Main Gate Area next to Six Flags Emporium (opens at 8pm)

The all-you-can-eat dinner buffet will be open from 8pm to midnight at the East and/or West Picnic Pavilion located inside the Main Gate. The staff can help provide guests who have dietary restrictions with gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, or vegan options.

Students are allowed to bring only small purses, drawstring bags and empty Hydro refillable type bottles into the park. No backpacks, duffle bags, outside food, drinks, coolers, or other food containers will be permitted. All bags will be searched by park security upon entry into the park. Travel light! Only bring what you can easily carry. No storage available at SPHS or on the buses. 

Your ticket includes all rides, dinner, dancing, digital photo, and a souvenir gift. If you want to bring money for anything else, please note that Six Flags is a cashless park. Their retail location accepts ApplePay, GooglePay, and CashApp and there are kiosks in the park to convert cash to pre-paid debit cards.

The First Aid Station is located across the Lex Luthor Drop of Doom near the Screampunk District. 

Medications can be brought in a cooler/bag. First Aid has refrigerators and storage for medications as well. 

State Certified EMT’s will be on site for anyone requiring medical attention.

For students with special needs, Six Flags’ Attraction Access Program is designed to accommodate guests with disabilities or certain other impairments so they participate in the enjoyment of the parks. Please contact gradnight@sphsptsa.net for more information. 

Yes, in addition to the SPHS standard dress code, Six Flags enforces proper attire including shirts and appropriate footwear. Clothing or tattoos with offensive language or graphics are not permitted. Anyone not adhering to the event dress code may have delayed entry or may not be granted admission without finding alternate clothing. Be prepared for temperatures dropping overnight.

  • Profanity
  • Pornography
  • Graphic violence
  • Support of drugs and drug use
  • Gang symbols
  • Promotion of discrimination against any group
  • Ski Masks
