- Obligations
- Textbooks/Library Books: All books from previous years must be turned in by May 16th to pick up your cap & gown. Your current textbooks are due by noon on graduation day. Look for an email from the Library to notify you of outstanding textbooks and library books.
- Chromebooks: Turn in to Mr. Barr when you no longer need it, at the latest by June 4 after the mandatory graduation practice
- Financial: You will receive an email from the Student Bank if you have outstanding financial obligations.
- Academic: You may be given an academic hold slip from your counselor if you are earning a D or F in a course needed for graduation. The hold will be cleared once uour final passing grade has been posted.
- Any senior involved in defacing or causing disruption to the school will not be allowed to participate in graduation activities, including the Graduation Ceremony.

- Cap & Gown: May 20 @ 2:45-4:00pm in the Library after all obligations have been cleared.
- Yearbook Senior Signing Party: May 27 @ 2:45-4:00 at the Tiger Patio. Yearbooks, pizza, garlic knots, and drinks

- Graduation Practice
- Practice is MANDATORY. Please be prompt. Reschedule any other employment hours, appointments, etc.
- What to Expect
- Receive your seat assignment and walking order
- Practice the procession from the gym onto the field
- Dress comfortably, bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water
- Students will each receive 5 graduation tickets at the end of practice
- Graduation Practice
- Baccalaureate
- June 1 at 5-6pm in the Auditorium
- A celebration to honor the senior class with a keynote speaker
- The night will feature speeches and performances by the senior class
- All family members are invited, no tickets are required
- This highly regarded family event is optional, yet every senior is encouraged to attend
- Seniors can wear their caps & gowns with any cords and sashes they like.
- Senior Awards Night
- May 29 at 7pm in the SPHS Auditorium
- To recognize and celebrate seniors who are recipients of scholarships and awards
- Students will receive a postcard at school if they are an award recipient
- Recipients will be seated in the front of the auditorium
- Dress appropriately: no jeans, shorts, mini-skirts/dresses
- All students, parents, family and friends are invited. No tickets necessary.
- GRADUATION ATTIRE
- All seniors who march in the graduation procession must wear the regulation black and white cap & gown

- Appropriate Graduation Attire Expectations:
- SHIRTS WITH TIE: solid colored, long-sleeve, button down
- PANTS: long pants only. NO shorts or jeans
- DRESSES: solid colored, NO prints, length should be shorter than length of the gown
- SHOES: dress shoes with socks, flats, wedges or sandals with back straps are acceptable. NO tennis shoes, sneakers, flip-flops, stilettos, or pointy heels

- White Gown Suggestions
- Graduation Ceremony Details
- Wednesday June 4 at 5:00pm
- Graduates need to arrive at the gym in their graduation attire by 3:45pm
- Leave keys, phones, leis, cords and sashes (except CSF), and other valuables with your family
- Individuals with disabilities may sign up using the Google Form provided in the graduation packet by May 25th to receive early access and special seating
- Attendees at the Ceremony
- Gates at the North and South entrances on Meridian will open at 4:30pm
- All attendees must have their own ticket (including children, no lap seating)
- Seating is on a first come basis
- No seats may be saved. Attendees must enter together to sit together
- No food or drink in the stadium except for bottled water
- Noisemakers and items such as balloons and umbrellas that block the view or others are not allowed
- Only graduates and staff are allowed on the Stadium Field
- Guests are expected to remain in their seats for the ENTIRE ceremony
- The ceremony will be live-streamed by SPHSASB
After the Ceremony
- Graduates will exit to the baseball field
- Borrowed caps & gowns need to be returned to the designated table before picking up your diploma
- Diplomas will be picked up at your counselor’s table
- Guests will meet graduates on the baseball field
