HELLLLLOOOOO TIGER NATION!

The PTSA is getting super excited to see students back at SPHS later this week. It certainly is a fun, exciting (and sometimes stressful) time of year for families. Speaking of families, PTSA is also super excited to welcome them at our annual Back to School coffee on the first day of school at 8am. It’s the perfect occasion for us to meet and mingle with Tiger parents. This is my first year as PTSA president, so bare with me as I navigate the new role. What I do know about the PTSA here at SPHS is that we are ready to champion and support Tiger parents, teachers and students. We’re here to help raise money, provide terrific programs, communicate effectively to our members and have some fun. Welcome Back everyone and GO TIGERS!

Registration is at the SPHS Library and is scheduled by class and last name.

JUNIORS – Thurs., August 4, 2022
• A-G 8:30-9:30 am
• H-O 9:30-10:30 am
• P-Z 10:30-11:30 am
Last entry for Juniors is 11:00 am.
Closed for lunch from 11:30 am-12:30 pm

SENIORS – Thurs., August 4, 2022
• A-G 12:30-1:30 pm
• H-O 1:30-2:30 pm
• P-Z 2:30-3:30 pm
Last entry for Seniors is 3:00 pm.
The school will close at 3:30 pm.

FRESHMAN – Fri., August 5, 2022

Please come at your designated arrival time or you will be asked to return later. Do not wait until the last minute or you will have to pick up your course request list and materials on or after the first day of school. Students do not need to bring an adult with them however if they feel it is needed, we are asking for just one to accompany them to minimize crowds and speed wait time; the more people in line the longer it will take. Please help us with this.

What happens at registration?

• Classes – see your course request list (you’ll get your schedule later)
• Books – you’ll get a bunch so bring a bag
• School IDs – “Say cheese.” Your school photo (for yearbook and ID) will be taken then.
• Thirsty? – Boba Fundraiser
• ASB – Join the associated student body, buy a Student Activity Card (SAC), order your yearbook

Before you go to registration, you must complete or confirm your student data.
• Login to my.spusd.net beginning Monday July 25. (We recommend using a desktop/laptop rather than a phone)
• Click the current student box and complete data confirmation
• Update contacts and medical information as needed

On Friday, May 20, SPHS PTSA held its first in-person HSA luncheon and ceremony in three years. Honorary Service Awards recognize those at SPHS- teachers, students, administrators, and parent volunteers- who go above and beyond in service to the school and community.
