On January 4, 2022, Superintendent Yantz issued an update regarding COVID-19 including information on new protocols at the schools.

SPUSD has released information on the proposed trustee area maps for community review and input.

Community members are welcome to provide comments in person at the SPUSD Board Meeting on January 11, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. during the public comment time. Alternatively, community members may submit input regarding the proposed trustee area maps by sending an email to cvra@spusd.net.

Good food and conversation was enjoyed by parents who attended the Senior Parent Social and the Freshman Parent Social. Both took place in the outdoor tent at Mamma’s Pizza. Look out for dates to be announced for the parents of Sophomores and Juniors.

Ed Ternan, from the non-profit Song for Charlie, who lost his young son in 2020 to a pill containing fentanyl, detailed the shocking statistics as these counterfeit pills rapidly sweep the nation and are killing in all 50 states.
